For treatment of plaque any tea tree toothpaste will serve the purpose and essentially not the oil made from tea tree.
One of the successful remedy against gum disease is tea tree oil. Yes, most of the dental experts recommend the use of tea tree oil in case you are facing a gum disease. Another reason for recommending tea tree oil for treating gum disease is because it is a natural mouthwash. All you have to do is add just one single drop of this oil into a glass of water and gargle thoroughly. Tea tree oil has the ability to kill all the bacteria and germs which have invaded your gums.
However, you need to make sure that you do not swallow tea tree oil. Many people across the world have been using tea tree oil on a regular basis and the usage has proved to be extremely helpful.
