Can a Deviated Septum Make Your Front Teeth Hurt?

A septum is a very thin wall of nasal tissue that keeps the nostril cavities separate into two separate “compartments.” A deviated septum happens when someone loses that tissue and their nostrils become one large cavity. This can lead to discomfort, nasal sounding voice, as well as other complications. Deviated septums can also be caused by doing drugs that involve snorting the chemicals. Your voice may also change and sound less “nasally”, which can be a huge benefit for those self conscious about their vocals! This condition can cause severe impairments in daily life, because for many individuals the pain is quite discomforting and disabling even. The best course of action is to get a septoplasty and take ibuprofen regularly to help eliminate any future discomfort that you may experience.
