Hi oredered this product yeasterday, thought offer was to good to be true, but hey ho thought as long as i cancell within 10 days it'll be ok, then i read these articles and realised they could take money before ten days, fortunatly having checked with my credit card company they have only taken $3.87 i have cancelled my credit card and hopefully they cant get axcess to any more, although even people at Mint credit card company are not sure of this?? I told them if they cannot guarantee not to pay these people any more money I will cancel card altogether, going to try the phone number you phone friday 29th october, god knows where this is it begins with 441617680100 when ringing from UK, i may ask BT before i phone, cos you can guarantee they probably have a phone number scam going on as well, i will keep you updated Sandra

Whatever you do, do not fall for this scam involving Brite White and Total Bright, where you combine the two products together. The website references a teacher from Weatherford, TX who used these two products, blah, blah, blah. The 14-day trial is $4.95 for these products. However, you don't realize when you order that you are agreeing to the membership terms and agreement of $129.95 which is billed after the 14 days. Once I saw the pending charge on my bank account, I contacted them and they gave me a cancellation confirmation number and assured me my account was cancelled. Of course, the next day, the pending debit cleared my account. When I contacted them the following day, they said no refunds will be issued. They are a TOTAL SCAM. PLUS, the products don't even work!!! I hope and pray that there are no more charges to my account. I am currently filing a claim with my bank and disputing the charges.

I too saw the consumer report and ordered the free Samples, but I canceled mine in 7 days, was told that even though charges were pending that I would not be charged, I canceled my card but the charges was still pending and today, they took the money out of my account and caused me an overdraft. It's saturday and I can't anyone on the phone, I will be calling back on monday, but from reading all the reports I have little faith of getting a refund, but it won't be without a fight even if I have to file a police report to get my bank envolved

I was going to get a free armoire via Craigslist but then the girl who was going to give it to me said that the first person who she promised it to wrote her back. So she gave it to someone else instead. As a consolation, she offered me a free Brite White trial only available to dental clients. The website looked strange and that's why I googled the name and came to this blog. Thanks for sharing. I almost got SCAMMED!

I got stung twice not only by Brite White but in coalition with Dental White. It was an ad I received and wanted to get my mother something to whiten her teeth as she had quit smoking after 35 years and I was so proud of her so I answered this ad that was two products that worked together perfectly, or so the ad said, and it was .99 cents and if you liked it, then you could order more. Nowhere was there anything about once you receive this you will be billed blah, blah, never was anywhere that I signed up for the sample. Long story short, I received one box with no invoice, not forwarding address, nothing. This got me wondering. Ends up that both companies, working hand in hand, started charging my credit card and yes, from all different addresses. My bank gave me all the phone numbers attached to the charge and I started calling. I spent about 5 hours one afternoon just trying to get a person on the phone. I was so angry! When I finally talked to someone, it was no problem, we will cancel your subsciptions of which I knew nothing about. One call I made got very rude and said I signed up for it and they were not going to credit me back. One gentleman that I spoke with actually gave me a RMA number to send back product, which I did. I was charged in total about $380 dollars before I got it stopped and had to cancel my credit card and to this day have only received credit for $92. When I called again, I was told "we could not credit you back because you cancelled your card". I went to the BBU who was absolutely not help at all. They just file the complaint against the company for others you check on them will see there are complaints. Other than this, they did nothing else. This was months ago. Recently I received a notice in my email that they were suing me. I am going to a lawyer. Anyone that wants to be added to this suit let me know. I think it is time to stop this kind of scam. What does our government do? Are they aware of all of this that goes on and who do you bring attention to? If anyone knows, please let me know. I will have to run a credit check now and see if they are on my credit showing me as deliquent. I am so upset. I just don't know what to do.

Thanks for giving such effort to point out all the scam sites!!! I have social bookmark your article and share with people out there! I believe many people do fall in these types of traps and it is always great that someone can point them out clearly!

You can file a formal complaint with the FBI by going to www.ic3.gov. It only takes a few minutes to fill out the form. I did it this morning after being hung up upon by these scam artists.

I finally gave up getting my money back. Wish I knew who to report to. I was bilked out of $87.47 twice on my visa. First billing was 4/2/2010 and second billing was 4/12/2010 for $87.47.
I'ver called the Tel number lsited on my visa and spke to mnay folks each month in May, June,July and August.I never received the product and asked for the UPS shipping number and when I plugged into the UPS site the number did not exit. Again I called to complained and was fuming at this point.
The story I got from a supervisor was they bill within 10 days of date of order and then again 30 days fropm order but they bill 7-14 days earlier from the 30 days. Man was I dupped and it is a shame you can can get ripped off from this company www.xmorders.com/MC Tel number 877-666-0531

Do NOT be taken in by the WhiteBrite offer you see on the internet as described above. You are sent an initial kit for about $5.00. Fine. Then, immediately, you get a bill for $49.99 and 'syringe refills' and the charge on your card says: C2C Bill, Paris, France! Having my credit card number being passed around in FRANCE scared me to death AND I received the charge way before the product came. I could not imagine WHAT I had sent for in FRANCE. I cancelled my card immediately (which means a big hassle changing it in other places) and I haven't even tried the product...probably a fraud like their selling methods. VISA agreed I would not pay for any of it. Watch out for anything that says C2C Bill on your credit card.

I also did the BriteWhite Trial and found it from that article on CNN too! I thought that it would be legit and not a scam since it was from CNN!!!!!!! But I guess NOT!!! I actually canceled within the 10 day window, but apparently they charge your account anyways! When I recalled to get them to reimburse me, the representative tried to tell me that my account wasn't canceled!!! I made her transfer me to a manager. He told me that it was canceled and that I would get my money back ,but of course I didn't and to make things worse, they even charged my credit card a few more times under different names! I know it was them bc that was the only company that I ordered from!!! i have already canceled my credit card and Now i have to dispute it with my credit card company and try to get my money back if I can!!! This is a terrible scam!!! DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!!!

I was ran into a scam offered on CNN website for South Beach Brite Tooth Whitening. The story on CNN tell how a housewife discovered by accident if you mix South Beach with another whitening product that she had great results. At the end of the article it tell you that the products can be recieved for just the shippoing and handling 1.95. When you go to the website it tells you about the promotion. I thought I was getting a good deal, but instead I looked at my credit card statement and had 2 charges for $78.95 and $79.95. I started to do some online research and discovered others had also fell victim to this scam. If you click on the terms on theor websit they explain that this is a 14 day trial that begins not when you recieve the product but when you place the order. They then start charging you 78.95 per month for the tooth whitener. This is so misleading and something needs to be done to stop them from ripping people off. I now have to contact VISA to try and recop money, since this company won't refund. And have to change my credit card so, no future charges are made to it. I am so feedup with people trying to make it rich being so decieving and ripping people off.

I now have to contact VISA to try and recop money, since this company won’t refund. And have to change my credit card so, no future charges are made to it. I am so feedup with people trying to make it rich being so decieving and ripping people off.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention Joyce. I was not aware that there was another company with a similar name out there. I checked out your website and looks like you have a good thing going there. Let me know if you would ever like to write a blog post about your company. I would be glad to post it here.
