Blue Cross Dental Plans: Choosing the Best
Anthem Blue Cross has all kinds of dental plans available for you to choose from. But in this post I will just be talking about one plan in particular which is the Blue cross dental plan called the 100 Plus Plan.
When it comes to having dental work done there are many expenses that come into play. One thing I like about this PPO plan is that it covers 100% of all preventative dental procedures, including x-rays, cleanings, check-ups, fluoride treatment and a few other treatments that help you from having to get the expensive procedures like extractions, crowns, and bridges.
With the Blue Cross PPO dental plan there is an annual deductible of $50 which does not apply to the preventative services as mentioned above. One thing to look at in a good dental plan is the yearly maximum. Once you use up your maximum limits, you can no longer get coverage for the care you need so this is important to keep an eye on. For this plan the maximum coverage is for $1,000 per year.
Although orthodontics are not covered with this plan you are able to get 20% off after the $50 deductible and as mentioned above, there is no charge for any preventative care. This should help you to encourage your family to keep brushing and flossing their teeth, because prevention is much more affordable than visits to the dental office for cavities.
Check out some Blue Cross Dental plans now and save a lot of money on your dental health.
